• The correct torque tension value or friction co-efficient value are essential for satisfactory fasteners point performance and a very important factor for assembling.
• The coated layer of metal / alloy and chromate layer does not have sufficient lubricating function.
• The right friction co-efficiency can be obtained by an additional layer of lubricant either by it self or incorporating into the sealer layer.
• Examples of difference friction co-efficiency ranges are as follows :
- 0.09 – 0.15
- 0.10 – 0.16
- 0.12 – 0.18
• UEP has collaborated with our major chemical RICA Marketing & its Principal in lubrication chemical.
• Currently UEP are using Gleitmo 603 & Gleitmo 627 in achieving specific friction co-efficiency on bolts supplied to The SANDEN groups of company.
